A Prestigious Design

In the collection of photographs on the walls in the Clubhouse, you can
look back at more than 40 years of history of Golf Torrequebrada.
José Gancedo, popularly known as the “Picasso del Golf”, created this
famous “green art gallery”.

In 1979, Golf Torrequebrada hosted the 53rd edition of the Spanish Open, won
by the South African Dale Hayes. Many anecdotes are being told from this
particular European Tour event and its antecedent in 1978, the Spanish
U-25 Championship with Severiano Ballesteros as the champion.
