Caminos asfaltados u hormigonados y sus cunetas son obstrucciones inamovibles.
Las zanjas de conducción de agua ocasional se consideran área general, y por lo tanto, tienen alivio sin penalidad cuando cualquier parte de su superficie artificial afecta al lie de la bola, al área del swing o al stand del jugador.
